Everything about The Mediterranean Bank Network totally explained

The Mediterranean Bank Network is a Malta-based partnership between Mediterranean banks. It was established on 28 November 1996 by four banks to encourage inter-regional commercial and business relationships between themselves. Member banks have a virtual presence in all the member countries without having to set up overseas branches, which avoids substantial costs. To date there are nine banks in the network: Banco Sabadell (Spain) (External Link), Banco Popolare (Italy) (External Link), Bank Of Jordan (Jordan) (External Link), Bank of Valletta (Malta) (External Link), Banque Internationale Arabe de Tunisie (Tunisia) (External Link), Commercial International Bank (Egypt) (External Link), Hellenic Bank (Cyprus) (External Link), Israel Discount Bank (Israel) (External Link), and Nova Ljubjanska Banka (Slovenia) (External Link) The presidency of the network rotates every two years and is currently held by Banco Popolare, Verona.
